The room was clean and very presentable. The bed was comfortable, and the furniture was in good condition. Heating and cooling worked fine, maintaining a pleasant temperature throughout our stay. the overpowering scent from a cleaning product lingered heavily in the room and hallways. The lighting was adequate, and the atmosphere was generally quiet. Breakfast was delicious, and the pet-friendly policy is a plus. On the downside, the slippery floors in the bathrooms could pose a safety hazard. Despite minor issues, the overall comfort of the room was satisfactory for the price.

This hotel is just a short drive away from Busch Gardens and less than 2 km from the Williamsburg Visitor Center, making it an excellent choice for exploring Colonial Williamsburg and nearby dining options like Rocco's Smokehouse Grill and Bistro 515 which are within a kilometer. The friendly staff and the delicious breakfast were great additions to our stay, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience after a day of local exploration, but the cleanliness of the rooms could definitely use some attention.

Despite these flaws, the pool looked inviting, and the location was ideal. Attention to detail is key in hospitality, and a few adjustments could elevate the experience significantly.

Had an amazing stay with super friendly staff! The breakfast spread was delicious, especially the omelet. Loved relaxing by the outdoor pool soaking up the sun!

I was really disappointed at check-in when my room key didn’t work. After a frustrating trip to the front desk, I got another room, but woke up to a flooded bathroom. It was just a disaster waiting to happen.

The breakfast is excellent and my kids loved it. The location is perfect for exploring nearby attractions and we enjoyed the riverside view.
The pool was unexpectedly closed during our stay.

The location was awesome and the staff were friendly, which is always a plus. The bed was super comfy, and the sheets were clean. the place felt kind of run down. Our bathroom could've used a serious clean, and the AC was a bit funky. It definitely has potential if they put in some effort!

My friends and I had a blast at the pool and even did some fishing nearby! The outdoor area was lit, and we had a great time chilling there before hitting the town. The whole vibe was perfect for young party-goers like us!
Would have been even better if they had a DJ at the pool area to pump up the party vibes even more.

The breakfast was surprisingly good with a decent selection of options to start the day off right. Also, the hotel is conveniently located near various attractions and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area. The beds were clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of activities.
Despite the positives, there were some drawbacks that affected the overall experience. The cleanliness left much to be desired, with reports of mold and dirt throughout the hotel, including in common areas and rooms.

I wake up to a “bright” breakfast with my cat, squeezing in a workout before exploring history. Go Kart Plus and outlet shopping close by - temptation!
I had such a blast dealing with overflowing toilets and rude staff. Great memory!

When we checked into La Quinta, we were pleasantly surprised by the availability of ironing facilities in the room. It was convenient to have this amenity as we needed to freshen up our outfits for a special dinner event. The heating in the room worked well, keeping us warm and cozy during our stay. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit was a bit of a letdown. It made a terrible rattling noise, disrupting our sleep at times. the bathroom sink had a huge crack in it, which was not only visually unappealing but also raised concerns about its functionality. the room was equipped with a flat-screen TV, which was a nice touch for unwinding after a long day. the carpeted floor had some stain spots that detracted from the overall cleanliness of the room. We were pleased to find free toiletries in the bathroom, although we wished they had been of better quality. The shower wall with the cracked tiles and leaky showerhead made it a bit challenging to have a comfortable shower experience. One thing we did appreciate was the availability of laundry facilities on-site.

We had a great stay at La Quinta. we found the beds very comfortable, the location central to everywhere we wanted to visit, and the staff kind and friendly. Having the hotel be pet-friendly was a definite plus.

The pool was very clean and refreshing, and the bed provided a wonderful night's sleep. my experience at La Quinta was definitely worth what I paid. Overall I'll recommend this hotel.
